shadows of reality

i woke up at 10 PM. i didn't knwo what day it was. i didn't know what month it was. i didn't even know what year it was. i figured i'd died and then came back to life after the world had ended. everything was silent. there was a cat by the door to my room, but it was just a shadow. turns out that most things that make me happy are really just shadows.
