Jeremy Smokin'

My cousin, Jeremy, who I hung out with while living in Nebraska, is now in jail. He may be charged with vehicular manslaughter if the guy he fucked up doesn't survive. Jeremy used to be quite the drug addict. He cleaned up and was doing fairly well. Then his mandatory AA meetings became optional. Then he quit caring about them. Then he started drinking and doing various drugs again. He didn't have mandatory UAs anymore, so he could get away with it. Last Tuesday he decided to drive 90 mph down a residential road and rear-ended someone. He was on day 8 of being fucked up on various drugs. He told the cops he'd taken LSD, ecstasy, valium and weed. He also kicked out the back window of the cop car after being arrested. Basically Jeremy's fucked. You can read a real news article about it from The Lincoln Journal Star. For those of you who are curious, no, he's not getting out on bail. Neither of his parents has the money, or is dumb enough to trust that he wouldn't run.
