Adventures in Cat Siting

at 10 AM today, my mom called and i barely missed the call. i got her message though. it went something like, "Eric, this is mom, I'm at the hospital with your sister. I need you to call me on my cell phone when you get this." of course, i paniced. I called her immediately back. it turns out that my sister is having some stomch pains and it shouldn't be too serious. in fact, she wasn't even calling to alert me about my sister. she called to have me go pick up my sister's cat (Lily) from the vet.
